Any issues with traction control from the larger tires? How about rubbing off road at full articulation? Looks great!

No traction control issues so far. No rubbing yet either, I've been through a few trails, but haven't got the truck to full articulation yet but there is plenty of room for the tire to move upwards. The width of the tires seems to be the issue on these trucks. I tried a wider tire and they hit on the steering box arm and where very close to the exhaust pipes in the front.

I wonder if anyone has relocated or modified the steering box/arm?

Yes they are from ebay. I'm pretty happy with them. They installed easy, no error codes, and they are 20 times brighter than the OEM versions.

I've only had them a few months so I can't comment on how they hold up in the long term.

Thanks!

any issues with 50mm spring spacers? Did you replace your shocks? brake lines? Anything else?

No issues so far with the spacers. They fit perfectly and accomplished my goal of lifting the truck without any major modifications. I only have the spacers and bigger tires to lift my G. No need for brake lines and no computer issues for me at this height.

That's a Bad *** G! Question... Would the tires still have fit w/o the 50mm lift?

Thanks! I can't say 100% yest because i never tried, but I really think they would. There is plenty of room in the fender well for larger tires.

The issue i had when trying to fit bigger tires was the width. The width of a Nitto Trail Grappler 275/65/20 was too wide and hit on the steering box arm.

Nice truck! I have a G550 but with the 9.5Jx18 G55 wheels and 285/55/18 tires. Any experience with your old wheels as far as offroad tires?

I'm looking to do a 40mm lift via Thor springs, and try and fit some 305/65R18's, or even hopefully some 34/12.50-18's. Not sure how much of a wheel spacer I would need... any advice?

Lifted G500, GT-S, track Cooper S
I am running 50mm spring spacers, stock 18" ashtaroks, and 33.2" general grabber AT2s with no wheel spacer needed, and only rubbing at heavy amounts of articulation and lock.

I will be adding some more lift and switching to 20s/35s, and will add wheel spacers at that point, but for your goals you shouldn't need to

Help

I am doing the headlight, DRL and bumper facelift for my 2005 G55

I need help guys

Where do you relocate pump to. unable to insert driver side headlight unless pump is relocated. please share pic of your experience if possible

DRL - where did you get power for DRL

New bumper - What did you do with FOG light. If removed does it trigger errors ? Where did you put cables ? Is it possible to use old Fog light connection to power DRL ?

Any and all help appreciated

Looks good. You really freshen up the look. How much did it run you? Like new style bumper etc?

Man! All that looks great and is inspiring me. Could you tell me where you got the front bumper, DRLs and flares? Did they go on easy or did you have to make mods? I'm looking for a kit that is well made and actually fits right the first time.

I got most of mine from Asian Kit. They are actually very good quality parts. Everything fits with no errors. I have not installed them as i am still waiting for them to get painted to match my car. The problem i am facing is a SMOG pump that will need to be moved that is on the driver side of headlight enclosure. I am not sure how to go about it yet. I have heard others do it but have no idea where to move this pump to I am hoping someone will see this and share some pics.

I didn't notice the pump when I changed the parking bulbs last week, do you have a picture of what you're talking about?
