G63 door seals part #'s help - G55 wind noise
I've had my G55 for a while now, and ever since I bought it, every time I push it past 80mph I get lots of wind noise, specially on the driver's side where the wind noise turns into a very annoying whistling noise, I've had it at the dealer several times, and they couldn't solve by aligning the doors.
Had the windshield re-sealed, and whistling is still there.
Recently I had it at the body shop, they told me the front door seals are installed backwards, that I should look into buying new seals... so I did a little research and came across a few threads where people were requesting the G63's front door seal part numbers because apparently these were improved over the old g500/g55 parts and really helped with reducing cabin noise.
I found some oem door seals on fourbyfourclub dot com, but it doesn't list a part number, so not sure if these are the newer parts these people were talking about.
I hope someone can chime in and help me with this situation, I would like to buy the right, I really would like to reduce wind noise and finally rid my car of that awful whistling noise. :help:
