Removing side mirrors

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know how or have instructions for removing the side mirrors on a 2012 W463?

You have to remove the inside door trim panel to access the fasteners; but why?

I just need to replace the mirrors, would you have instructions on removing the door panels at all?
