Lift questions
Any recommendations for modest lift ~2-3"? I don't mind spending a little more for springs and shocks if it will ride better than just spring spacers. Pros and cons?
Has anyone used Hofele 70mm springs? New shocks required?
Thanks for any input and suggestions.

Lifting a G is no harder than lifting other coil sprung solid axle vehicles when it comes to components. You could go with spacers or new springs to achieve height, as well as extending the other components to compensate for the difference.
The problem you are going to run into because you have a newer G, is the computer nannies going ape **** and causing ESP to kick in because of all the sensors involved. There are a couple settings you can change to compensated, but it involves you finding a competent person with the STAR system that can change them for you. Thats tends to be easier said then done.
I know the new 4x4^2 models come with 37" tires and a lift from the factory, so I would love to see what they did at the factory to compensate for that. It might be a while though before someone on the G forums gets their hands on one to check into that.
