In your opinion, how do you think the allocations are going to be allotted? I'm guessing by dealership volume first, and then any dealership with an on hand order second?

Only wondering since there are roughy 100 allocations currently assigned and the expectation is 200-250 total vehicles, how those next allocations are going to be assigned. Just weighing my chances of my dealership getting a second allocation or if I should collect my deposit and move on to something else.
No idea how they are going to allocate them, however I have to assume Volume 1st.

Keep your deposit on the Build, if they get another slot, you should be next in line, even though they told you that you were Number 1.

NYC Benz;
Do you know the part number for the 18" bead lock wheels that are an option in Europe. I assume they are made by Hutchinson of Trenton NJ who make the bead locks for the Canadian Army G's.

I would like to get a set for winter and offroad tires. Mine arrives in February.

FYI, a few more Allocations were just awarded.

Nothing new for North Olmsted or Littleton, however.

NYC, didn't expect the 4x4 to be so limited. If there are 200-250 expected in USA. Any idea how many there will be in Canada?

No idea, an I am unable to see their allocations.

Probably less than half of what the US will get?

My sales in Toronto area said Ontario will get 10-12, so I assume all of Canada will probably be less than 30

MSRP hasn't been announced yet, and I imagine that it will be a bit higher than $225k...however we should know sometime Next Month/Early January!

Should total out at around 200-250 MAX.

No official word, and probably won't be released.

We have 4 which have been Spec'd out, the remaining 4 are in our "order bank", waiting to get accepted by MBUSA/DAIMLER for production.

Whenever I place an order for a car which we do not have an actual allocation for (G65, E63 Wagon, etc..), I make my clients spec the entire car out option wise, and play the waiting game with the Manufacturer, that way when the order is actually allocated, no changes need to be made.

Makes it much easier that way. I have 3 GT R's waiting to be pulled for production right now, which my Clients have already spec'd everything out.

IMHO, every dealer should do this, instead of waiting for their slot to then make changes.

Let me add my thanks as well.
Any idea how to make the non-functional US spec light bar work?

Will have to wait until I see one in person. Would have to assume that it is just simple wiring (if they include the LED's).

One of my client's wants to transfer a Roof Rack from his G63; that should be a fun project!

Damn, the more I know about it, the more irritated I am with my whole situation. That's a sweet *** vehicle.
