Digital Climate Control?
Does anyone know how to retrofit a digital climate control in the w463? I saw an old ebay auction where someone claims to have reprogrammed one.
Thanks,
Erik

I purchased mine from the facelifted W203 chassis, if you go this route make sure that air conditioning button has the "rest" option ( most of them don't have that button so it took me a while to find one with). I have not tried it on my vehicle but I was told it's plug-and-play. ** I purchased my unit from a wrecking yard and I made sure it came with the plugs in it, just in case the plugs don't match .

tedcorp - Thank you, but that unit is much older, I highly doubt it will fit.
Kobzarhomes - Thanks! That is the one I think I need to find as well.

Tifosiv122 - if you go with the newer version like I have, you will need to update your dash buttons (with wood trim), navi and climate control (with wood trim). You might also have to replace the navigation unit holder thats inside the dash.
I have all the pieces ready and will be installing them when I'm assembling my interior.
** when I purchase the dash buttons unit (which needs to come off 2007-2013 year G-Wagon). I also purchased it with plugs inside it, just in case I will need to rewire them. I will cross that hurdle when I get to it )

Wow! I didnt know they offered a digital version of the W203 Climate Control. What model W203 did you pull that out of C350?
I need that part in my life and it would go perfect on my 2008 and give it that nice digital look! Great find thanks for sharing and the knowledge

Looking forward to seeing the piece installed, since you can control fan direction on both sides with this setup and the OEM setup is only one side, are there any issues?
I know this piece is gonna look great installed.
