W463 - can you put a pre-facelift bumper on a 2016?

Might be a strange question, but I'm wondering if I can fit a <2015 (pre-facelift, oval lamps) bumper on a 2016 facelift car?

Is there a pre-facelift bumper with parking sensors?

The only reason is that I simply dislike the appearance of the new front end but would still like to get a newer model G.

I don't think it is possible for the following reasons,
1- no foglight wiring or switch in 2016
2- no parking sensors in older bumper
3- no openings in older bumper for the new transmission oil and turbo intercooler radiators

Good points. The fog lights would need to be rewired or left unused. Regarding parking sensors, I'm pretty sure I've seen pre-facelift cars with parking sensors?

The coolers I see as an issue though, I'm not sure if the bumper would be big enough to cover them and even if it was, it's not a good idea to block so much airflow..

G-Class
The 2013-2015 pre-facelift bumpers arrive with parking sensors.

However, as stated previously from other members there is no fog light wiring in 2016 version and the intercooler radiators will not allow you to mount the pre-facelift bumper.

By the way the new G-class (w464) will be out late 2018 (most likely) with vast amount of upgrades.

Good luck with your choice!
