considering the G55 costs USD288,461 here in hong kong. I'd assume a G65 would be closer to the $350K mark.

Your dealer should be able to tell you that already.
They all have all the product for 2013 confirmed and it includes G63 TT.

MBNA was planning to price the G65 at S65 price level (about $220k).
The only reason we are not getting it here is because Feds refused to grant a waiver for the 40 odd cars that would come here (without costly testing and destruction of a few complete cars).

I'm down on the list for one at my local dealer. He told me sometime by summers end.

What matte gray I'd it? Any pics? I'm deciding between obsidian black, white or matte black/ white.

Gonna put a deposit down in the next few days along with the new ml350 for the wife.

G63 options available and order bank now open!!!!

My dealer just got back to me with G63TT colors and options. It is now possible for your dealer to place an order for one. Sadly, there is no performance package listed as an option. Maybe they will be giving the motor more power in the standard configuration for the G63. There is a PP for the ML63 though? I can't get the document transferred on this work computer. Its from a computer screen from the dealer saved as an image and this work computer doesnt have the latest flash to upload it to smugmug. Will do it later.

Some highlights

They have a carbon fiber interior trim option and brake calipers painted in silver,
17" 5 split spoke wheel. Dont know what this is. I thought the G55 had 18" wheels standard?
Designo magno colors limited to Platinum and Night black only.
There are a ton of Designo and regular exterior colors available.
Also, lots of Designo interior woods and leathers.

I went in last week to see if my TWO closest dealers had any "inside" info on the G that I might not find on the world wide web. They didn't even know the update was coming out. I suppose if it's actually on their system now, they might clue in. Since I've never pre-ordered a car from MB - what should I expect as far as deposit, details, timing, obligation, etc? Should I go to a bigger dealer that might have more allocation or can these smaller local guys accommodate?

My dealer is probably one of the largest in the country and he really didn't have much info except a list of colors, interior colors, and options. He didn't even know if it was going to have the TT motor which we all know is coming. I'll post the list of options and paint colors as soon as I can. As for dealers to use, not sure what you should do. Why don't you call them and tell them they can order the truck now. If they don't sell that many there might be some lag in getting the info.

Was thinking about going in tomorrow to do just that? I'm hoping to get some of my questions answered, so I don't go into the dealer uneducated on the MB pre-order process (never pre-ordered any cars before, let alone MB). Especially when I fully expect these guys to be completely surprised when they realize the car can be ordered and scambling to figure out what they should do.

Order sheet for 2013 G63

This is all the info the dealer has so far. They have not been released any specs yet.

Im thinking the 17" split spoke wheel might be a special steering wheel. Makes more sense then 17" wheels.

If you could have seen my salesman trying to navigate through the program that merecedes uses to order the cars you'd laugh. It was so slow you would have thought he was working on a pentium 133 with a 28k dial up modem. I suspect the SLR button just shows us how old their program really is!!!!!

Went in yesterday and the 17" Split spoke in the above screen said 20" on my dealer's screen, so I suspect it was an error during the first few days and they got it fixed. The printout I received showed std 5 split spoke 20s (R10) and optional 5 spoke 20s (R11).

This is getting exciting!

I'm thinking White with Red interior, but I haven't seen if the red is throughout, or just on the trim pieces. Anyway, this is going to be great.

So now we need a picture of both wheels to decide. If the standards were 19" then I would definitely go with 20" optional wheels. But now I'll nwed to see both 20" wheels to decide
