Supercharger cutting out?
I'm on the fence about buying an '05 G55, it's got good paperwork, car is flawless, last two test drives went great, comes with a warranty, planning to take it in for an inspection by an actual Mercedes dealer in a few days.
Problem is the last test drive, I gave it my hardest drive so far and the supercharger cut out completely within a minute of starting, so I took it back to the dealer and the mechanic looked at it, saw the supercharger wasn't engaging, and told me it's cause I drove it too hard on a cold engine and the computer cut power to prevent damage. They let me drive it around for another fifteen minutes and drove it even harder and couldn't reproduce the issue.
Anything I should be worried about? I know I'm not buying a Camry, if I need to give it a little time to wake up before putting my foot on the floor I can deal with that, I just want to make sure it's functioning as intended.
