It's the same portal axles, fender flairs, etc., as used on the 6x6. If you don't take your G off-road it wouldn't benefit you. If you like off-roading and rock crawling, like I do, it's an awesome upgrade.

It's interesting. My guess is they add this to the product line up along with a subtle refresh of body. Not sure why all the decoy wrapping but there must be something there. In addition to the 6x6 suspension, wheels, side flares,top lightbar and maybe side runners, looks mostly similar. One thing I never noticed before on some of the 6x6s is that they have a side marker turn indicator on the panel behind the front quarters that is present on this body style. If anything, more evidence this form factor will be around for a few more years.

Between tires, springs, shocks, cutting off side pipes, and removing my running boards, I've done all that I can to increase the ground clearance of my G63. I'd still like to have more so my next step is Letech portal axles.

Do you have a shot of what the truck looks like under? I'm curious to know what the exhaust pipes look like...
