2017 G
2017 G DOG is out. (4/27 release) The navigation is updated to NTG 5.1 with smartphone integration! Some new interior options from Designo Manufaktur on NetStar too. Those aren't reflected in DOG yet.

Any more details? Screenshots or prices. Rumors of a facelift were out for 2017 increasing width and reducing weight.

I wonder if it would come with the touchpad for the 5.1
Would be awesome to see a Gwagon drive up when you access the system menu lol. Would you happen to have the entire PDF?

Thanks to gotwire who emailed the file to me. You can access it here <------
The changes really are minimal. Looks like availability in October '16.
I'm holding out for a more radical update before sending my 2010 packing.

2013 G 63 AMG
The "Smartphone Integration" feature is basically support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. I'd be curious to see if this can be retrofitted into 2013-2016 models. Obviously such a retrofit won't be supported by MB or dealers, and would probably require some coding changes.
I'll need to consult an expert on COMAND retrofits to see if the upgrade from COMAND NTG 4.5 to 5.1 is doable...once my warranty runs out obviously.

2013 G 63 AMG
Nothing more than what's been recently reported in the automotive press based on spy shots. The confusion is whether it will be a 2018 model launched next year or a 2019 model coming in the summer of 2018. It will definitely be the biggest upgrade since the launch of the current W463 series in 1991, hence the bump of the chassis to W464. They seem to have retained the key elements of what makes the G-Class appealing while adopting new materials, technologies, and greater interior space and comfort.
That's what I'm waiting for. We should know more about the timing by this Fall. I'm also on the lookout to see if there's any prototypes in Dubai this summer for hot weather testing. Most of the prototypes I've seen so far are from American and Korean manufacturers. The only Mercedes I've seen is the 2018 E-Class wagon.

I'm debating about keeping my 2016 G550 for a while until the W464 has been out for a few years to make sure there aren't any major issues OR trading it in for a 2017 G550 or G63 to keep me happy a bit longer.
Some of the new options that they're making available for the 2017's give some nice new color choice / interior upgrade options.
Is there a more detailed explanation somewhere the explains what NTG 5.1 adds over what the 2016's have? I'd like to have a better understanding of what that would give me before making a decision.
Also, has anyone ever had any luck getting Mercedes to sell a G63 with all season tires that are decent in snow instead of high performance summer tires? I don't have space for 2 sets of tires and really don't want to spend even more money on a replacement set of tires right away and have to sell of the stock tires. I don't really need the extra horsepower from a G63, but do like a few of the interior options that can't be ordered for a G550... The Pirelli Scorpions that came with my 2016 G550 have been pretty nice tires so far.

This article has a pic of the dash assemply of the W464. Looks like a big needed upgrade and I'm guessing some proper cupholders in that front center consol.

Don't see the diff lock buttons. Would be surprised to see those moved from the front center location.
Might sell the 2010 and lease this when it comes out. Don't normally like to buy the first year of a new body style. I'm fairly intrigued at this one though.

My dealer just forwarded MSRP for the MY17 G-Class:
G550: $122,400
AMG G63: $141,400
AMG G65: $220,400
It sounds like pricing for the options, including the new Manufaktur leather choices isn't available yet.

The dealer also sent me an updated version of the DOG with pricing for everything except the new 4x4 squared model.
