G63 Squeaking Noise - need help
I have recently purchased a 2013 G63 AMG with 50k kilometres on it. I noticed that there is a squeaking towards the front of the cabin which you can hear while driving.
It seems to be that if I try and detect where it is coming from it is from the front of the vehicle. I drove over a curb on the right side and it makes the noise but not when I drive over a curb with the left side of the vehicle.
This is very strange. I have read about the noise door hinges etc but would that be the case if you only go over a curb with one side of the car?
I don't want to spend a fortune with a dealer if anyone can give me some advice.

My three recent G63 and G550's (all post 2013MY) have needed lubrication of the hood latches and springs. After dealer lube no problem.
Text from most recent service:
HOOD LATCHES DRY. ROAD TESTED VEHICLE AT 11:35-12:04 FROM ,33510-33517 AND FOUND THERE IS A RATTLE AND SQUEAK COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. INSPECTED AND FOUND HOOD LATCHES AND SPRINGS ARE DRIED OUT AND RUBBING METAL TO METAL. LUBRICATED LATCHES AND SPRINGS.

You could squeak when over going up one side because the truck will flex.
I had so many of these squeak issues and they were repaired with lube, and grease.
All hinges, latches and most importantly door seals. its annoying when on the seals
because you can get it on your hands, but it does the trick. My tech says it should be done
every 5k. It makes a world of a difference.

hood latch tightening. 3 minute do it yourself job
take a small wrench, loosen the bolt, turn the hood stop one turn, close the hood and check to make sure its very tight, once its tight squeak is gone
