G63 Tuned with before and after dyno

This is a tune that we specifically developed for the G63. We have one of these vehicles so we spent a good amount of time tuning this vehicle.

These vehicles are very different than the AMG cars that use the same engine. The problem is that the tunes we see from other tuners are the exact same ones that they sell for the other vehicle.

This is for 91 octane fuel and these numbers are to the wheels, not made up numbers to the crank that everyone else advertises. I'm pretty sure that we have tested everyones tunes at this point on our dyno and nothing comes close to comparison to this.

This car is 100% bone stock other than the tune.

What exactly is different about tuning the M157 in the G63 vs. all the other platforms that use the same motor?

Great results and kudos to you for getting those numbers. However i do have to say that an aggressive tune isn't always the goal, personally I like to find the sweet spot amongst drive ability, performance and preservation of the drivetrain components.

Specially in a vehicle like this, I don't think g63 drivers are quarter mile warriors fighting to gain that tenth of a second.

What is your advantage over other tuners that have the software available for years and have not had much noise around reliability/driveability.

I'm not pro- any of the tuners out there and would love to hear how you have developed your tune.

It has everything to do with the drivetrain in the trucks which are drastically different. The tune developed in an E63 will make about 50hp-70hp less in a truck. It also will not come up on power very quickly so the truck will be extremely lazy compared to how it should be.

Almost all the tunes for these AMG's make power by raising the boost and manipulating how the fuel is added (it's the easy and quick way out), but that doesn't work to well for the trucks (actually, it doesn't work to well for the cars either).

This tune is far from aggressive. This is a California 91 Octane tune.

All of our customers cars are daily driven, we are not building race cars here. These tunes are made to be safe and work with the fuel that's available for our customers to use.

We are just lucky enough to have the tools here that let us to proper testing and tuning. This allows us to properly design all of our upgrades and safely deliver the power that our customers want. Our facilities are now being used by big aftermarket as well as the OE manufacturers in Southern California.

We are able to develop a tune specifically for this because we own the cars ourselves that we do the tunes on. We are not using a customers vehicle, so we are able to really spend a lot of time on the development of the parts. We have all kinds of new parts coming out that actually work now that we have the facilities under our roof to do all the testing.

It's good to see someone finally post a real dyno chart on here and not some artist rendering of a dyno chart that could be made to say anything.

That's exciting, looking forward to all those new parts!

I'm not an expert at reading these things. I'm assuming the --- line is stock and solid line is tune? I'm not looking for a complete course in reading dyno charts but can you elaborate a bit more on what we're looking at?

Thanks for posting and I agree that its good to get a good dyno result on a real world car owned by the tuner. The Renntech tune was looking to pretty much match the G65 performance so that was a decent comparison.

The solid lines are the tuned numbers and the red line is the HP and the blue line is the torque.

Other than ECU manipulation and no other mods, what can you foresee as becoming an issue down the road?
i.e. Injectors going out, cats going out etc etc ,
and do you have an available "tested" and dyno'd tune for a G55K?
Lastly, $$$?
