Hi Guys,


Posting this for a friend as he does not have a forum account. His 2015 g63 with 1500 miles has a slight hesitation when accelerating from a traffic light, it ranges from half a second to a full second. He drives in sport mode most of the time.


Dealer told him this is normal and after break in it will disappear. I wonder if anyone has experienced this when the truck is new?


I cant comment as I bought mine used with 20k miles on it.

Mine does that too in sport mode. It seems like the clutches need time to engage. It will probably learn itself or break in after a bit. If not Ill do a trans relearn and see what happens. Im at 2k miles on my 16 G63.

Agreed. Needs to adapt to his driving habits. I'm at 1300 miles and it still doesn't know me yet. I've had a few new AMGs and had the same experience with each one.

same for me in sports mode even when i hammer it. I'm at 6k miles, might just have to drive harder lol
