G63 vs G550 stock ride height
Does the G63 have shorter springs/shocks than the G550 by like 1/2 inch or so?
So, If I get a 40mm ORC lift springs on my G63, would I technically get more than a 40mm lift?
Thanks.

ORC springs will lift your current G63 40mm. I dont think it is that much of a difference between the g550 and 63 height.
Why not try the ARB/OME 50mm lift set up? http://vikingoffroad.com/g-wagen-coil-springs/
And then if you need a better shock set up go with the custom Kings..
Im planning on that direction as well. ARB/OME 50mm lift with 30mm poly spacers, then upgrade to the King shocks. Will also be running 30mm hub spacers with stock wheels. I like the look of the stock wheels. Might upgrade to ADV.1s down the road, still undecided. I do know that there needs to be a way to give more caster for the lift. Viking and GwagenParts sells weld on brackets that will fix castor issues. But I dont want anything permanent put on the G63. There is another person that sells Poly spacers which he also makes some type of offset bushing to help fix castor I believe. I need to email him, unless someone here has more info on that.
Good luck with the lift bud!
