How well is that low bid philosphy working out? Seems to be a fair amount of posts w/ bad tires - granted that's likely less than 1/2 of 1 percent of the car population, but where there is smoke there is fire.

I think MB made the switch to Dunlops late last year. All the ones I saw on the lots when I was shopping had Dunlops. Maybe it was due to all the issues reported with Contis. Anyone with a recent build care to inform what tires they got?

Off road pics
I went off road today and here are a couple pics of the beast in the nature. Mind you, I didn't say I went "off roading", rather, I just went "off road" for these
Got it cleaned yesterday so makes perfect sense to drive it in dirt today, don't it?

All the ones I looked at on the dealers lot had Conti's??? I also think that AutoSaurus who's build was Jan 10th or so has Conti. As I say...it depends on the most recent price and buy order what tires will end up on the vehicles.

Thanks, NBJ for making the pic look much much better. I am afraid my brain compartment for artistic talent is filled with nought but vaccum. So, feel free to take any liberties with the pics posted, at least by me. And, if you want certain shots let me know and I will do my best to fulfill.

Looks great, OKNISH! I did the same today, and felt like it went on forever...I have straight black, not OB, almost wish i had gotten OB, but oh well, too late. Here are a few of mine, as clean as I can get it. I used a little Zymol on the hood and front fenders trying to remove the darn swirls the dealer left not at delivery but after Ipod kit install!. Have to remember to ask them NOT to wash it upon servicing. OH well, I love it, just need to find someone who can clean it well without swirling it.
