GL 320 station selection

Does anyone know whether you can cycle through your pre-set satellite or FM stations using the controls on the steering wheel as opposed to having to use the joystick on the Command screen. When I use the steering wheel controls, the stations cycle to the next station, not to my next pre-set and I would like to be able to use the wheel instead of reaching over.

Don't think you can cycle through presets using wheel controls and it drives me nuts too. However, to cycle through presets, set your COMAND screen to SAT mode by pressing the SAT button and then you can use the number pad to go to the desired preset. In SAT mode there is also a button labeled Presets. Press that and you will see a listing of all your presets. You can scroll/select through this list using joystick or just press the corresponding number.

pg 180 of the ( '08 ) owners manual shows how you can select either preset or frequency scroll with the steering wheel buttons.

Many thanks; it works perfectly. I thought I would have to sell the vehicle.

Thanks, MKW. I am off to the garage now

jongaines - I thought I was bad for thinking of selling the car since I didn't get ORP package but you, Sir, have opened my eyes further

What, Nish, you didn't see me rock-crawl it up behind the Red Rock sign, no ORP in sight? (I thought for SURE that Park Ranger was going to come back and arrest me!)

I was late, remember

Back to topic - how lame is it that you can only have 10 presets? Delirious gives you what 150 choices??? And you can only have 10 presets???? My 92 Prelude allowed 19 presets.

I really have to wonder with something like Sirius - if you cannot tune off-station (like AM or FM), what is the true purpose of presets?

(Dude, I am so deep.)
