Truck Bucking and Lurching from Complete Stop
Recently got a GL450 and having a few issues. Originally, it had a bit of lurching and bucking at traffic lights, when I was at a complete stop and let off the brake.
My mechanic looked at it and said we can do a few things, because it may be misfire related. When checked with a code reader, it did have a misfire. We did the following things:
- New Plugs
- New Coil on Cyl 4
- New MAF
- Fix Air Intake Manifold Guides / Arms
- New 02 Sensor Bank 1 Pre Cat (Upstream)
- New Battery
I fixed the issue of the misfire, but I am still trying to chase the issue I previously had started with.
After the car is at a stoplight, if I let go of the brake it bucks back and forth. No check engine lights, and does not do it when the engine is cold, only once it warms up. Sometimes it can get pretty violent. Any ideas?
