I Reset command system - help please
We couldn't get the headphone symbol off and we had no sound from any source. I gave up and reset the whole command system and now we have sound again.
Now my default for entering Nav is New Jersey and I have to go to "province/state" and select Ontario Canada - how do I make this the default?
And does anyone know how the headphone symbol even come on in the first place and stop all sound? And how do I turn it off again without resetting? The manual just drove me nuts and I couldn't figure it out. We were at the drive-in and needed sound fast before there was a family rebellion and now I"m feeling the pain setting up phones and everything again (sigh).
Thank you for any help,
Jason

For the '09 does the 'mute' button remain in effect even after the car is turned off and on? on our '08 it goes back to normal mode.
As far as resetting your starting point, try giving it your address and telling it that is 'home. I forget how to do that but I know it is possible (but not easy - nothing about the COMAND controls is 'easy'!)
