HRE wheels need help with offset and sensors???

Just bought HRE wheels for my 2011 GL. They are one piece multi spoke mate black in color(custom from HRE). Got them used(800 miles on wheels and tires they still have the little niples on them) wheels are 22"x10 with a 24et offset and tires are Pirreli scorpions 305/35-22. Guy i got them from had them on a 2008 GL450 with GL550 flares on. My concern is the offset and tire size??? Will they work on my car without rubbing or any other issues??? The guy even gave me the receipt from HRE stating that they were made for a GL. But from what i seen here nobody put wheels with a tire size like that and offset like those wheels have. The wheels also come with sensors, will the sensors from 2008 GL work on a 2011 GL? how do i program the sensors and if they wont work on my car where do i get sensors that will work on a 2011GL. Any help please as i can still return the wheels to him...

You will need the fender flares from the 550. They will stick out more than an inch from the front fender without the flares.

Shouldn't be any rubbing with a 305/35. You get some rubbing initially with a 305/40 but it disappears quickly.

Sensors from an 08 will not work on anything from '10 on...they changed the brand and now have the pressure indicated on all 4 wheels. You'll need to replace them with the new ones. Just went thru this when I moved from a '07 to a '10 and tried to swap my wheels as well.

Would 305/40/22 rub on a 550 as well? Looking at a 22x10 with offset of 40. I was told the stock offset on a 550 wheel is 37 so I figure 40 would work well as opposed to a 50.

A little at first and is usually only audibly noticable when slowly pulling in or backing out of a parking spot with the wheel fully clocked.

Is 40 an acceptable offset? 22 x 10 rim.

It would look just fine on a GL550.

They are going to stick out an extra 1/2 inch further than the GL550 wheels. How much space is there from the edge of the wheel to the fender with the GL550?

I mean they were custom made by HRE to fit the GL550 but haven't seen the on a actual GL550. I'm guessing the original ones are not even with the fender/flare edge and those will be, damn now I'm scared, can't put them on until I get the flares...

22x10 with a 40 offset is what i'm running with 305/40/22's on the gl550 and it rubs the inner fender liners
