GL Brakes

What is the typical life-span of GL-350 Brakes/rotors? Purchased the car with 29k miles and have no comparison to what they were like when they were brand new.

Got mine changed at around 60,000 miles. Previous owner never changed it I believe.

It depends on where you drive a car. City driving, I mean NYC, brakes (pads) should be good for about 25K-30K miles. Rotors - about 60K.

I'm at 63,000 miles - still original brakes. I'm very 'light' on them. I like to use the diesel to coast and slow down vs. hammering the brakes.

56,000 miles and recent check shows good life left in the pads....

My pads were changed at 40K but going to change those out to Akebono pads, as I hate the MB pad dust! Would also like to upgrade to the 375mm rotors from 355mm in the front.
