Try to put it on Ebay. There are not many 2011 BlueTec listings.
I spoke to couple dealers - they said the best time to sell GL diesel for export market when it's 3 years old or brand new.
Good Luck anyway. Let us know how soon you sell it.

I traded my 2010 GL350 the end of last year for around $52K with 24K miles. At that time, the price for 2010's were dropping real fast (higher diesel prices, market saturation, extreme discounting on 2012 GLs) that I took the trade value for my CLS550. I timed it wrong. Used GL350 prices were highest around Aug/Sep last year. I kept thinking I could demand a premium on a pre-owbed GL BTC. Boy was I wrong...live and learn.

It is worth quite a bit in Canada, especially if you can get a buyer in western Canada. I have been offered over $50,000 US for my '08.

Just diesels, you can't give a 450 or 550 away up here. Also, used car values in Canada are lowest in Quebec, Eastern Canada and Ontario. Higher value in the west, but I have no idea what it would take to ship a car to Calgary or Vancouver from the eastern seaboard.
Marketing to Canadians is an idea anyway...

Actually I imported my 320 bluetec from Florida to Canada. Its a surprisingly easy process. The only catch is the warranty. If you don't care about the warranty then basically you've got a couple of emails to send to the appropriate offices, then a Canadian just buys the car, drives it over the border (15 mins of paper work), and pays part of the HST (federal sales tax). Once in canada they get it inspected to make sure it meets Canadian safety standards (the GL requires NO modifications. Thats the nice part. You just turn on the DRL as documented in the handbook, switch the digital speedometer to km/h and thats it). Then you license it just like a regular used car (safety inspection, emissions inspection) and pay the rest of the HST (provincial portion).
So besides some really minimal paper work, its just like buying any other used car. In Canada we pay HST on used cars anyways so its no difference in price.
Now, if you want the warranty, then Mercedes Canada wants to squeeze some money out of you for their own safety inspection. About $2500-$3000. Its quite a scam since the car has already passed all federal and provincial inspections. MB Canada has no real reason to do any inspection or modification work, (other than taking some of your money).
But please don't market your cars up here When its time for me to sell mine I want to sell it at Canadian prices not US

I also imported mine, in fact I bought mine new from a dealer and had MB Canada bless it as need be as the savings were good enough to justify $2.5K for purchasing 4 years of warranty.

Yes, twice...or at least I thought so. One even went to the trouble of paying for a PPI. But the market was dropping so fast for GL350s that each time the buyer tried to renegotiate and I walked. My mistake. I should have taken the last offer of $55K. But nonetheless, I ended up trading it in for prepaid 2012 CLS550 4Matic Launch Edition lease in December 2011. And in the end, a couple of East coast snowstorms, family travel needs, and a tax incentive made the turn of events more economically advantageous.
