Thumbs up 2010 GL450 Engineering Mode

I'm having trouble locating the Engineering Mode on my '10 GL450. I've been in there before, and I thought I found it in this forum, but I went back twelve pages and still nothing along with several modified searches. I know that there is a three-button push sequence of "hang up," "?," and "?." I can't remember the rest . Please do not refer me to the '07, '08, & '09 MB model Command Systems. Their button sequence doesn't work! My purpose is to activate the BlueTooth Streaming capability just like my '10 E550. The correct help is greatly appreciated.

So you mean that BT streaming is possible providing it is enabled from the Engineering mode? If that is true, I wonder why the cars come with the feature disabled? Please post any of your findings.

I can't tell the manufacturer reason why it is factory disable but my guess is that it was programmed in as a so called "future option" where the technology is there but hasn't been software enabled. This concept is often utilized in computer and smartphone equipment.

I found out that the BlueTooth was available for my '10 E550 by reading the W212 forum and entering the Engineering Mode on the Command System.

No I don't but it is likely to be in the forum. I read so much last night I don't know where exactly any of that information is.

I've been in engineering mode on my 2010 GL a couple of times. The first time, I messed up my bluetooth, which the dealer had to replace the COMAND Unit for...awk
Anyways, I couldn't find any options for bluetooth streaming although I know it exists: One time, I called someone and my iPhone was playing music in the background on the call due to a software glitch or something. My iPhone wasn't plugged in...it was in the cup holder...
Here is the code: Hang-up, Pound or Star (I can't remember right now lol), and 6, NOT 1.

Thanks! I did find it though this past Friday. It is the following:

END CALL + 6 + *

I didn't see the Bluetooth streaming just as you said but I know it's there somewhere. I'll have to inquire with the dealership next time I go in for service.

Folks: Any idea if there is a way to get the engineering mode for a 2008 GL320? I did not have much luck with above combination.

No I did not find it. Honestly, I just stop looking. I do not think it exists. At this point, I am waiting to trade up to a 2013 GL550. The new body style is bangin'!
