Only 16K on this vehicle. Parktronic showing eronious indications. Sensors are clear. Dealer claimed to fix but still have problem.
Driver Door exterior handle suddenly stopped sensing touch open or lock.
Fuel gauge dropped to empty with 11 gallons remaining. This is the second time since purchased new. Anyone having this kind of problem?
All these things just happened in one week either on or after a 800 mile trip.

I've had my fuel gauge quickly drop to empty when it was actually more than 1/2 full. It reset once I filled it up again but not a comfortable experience when on a long road trip and far from a diesel station.

Some of the same problems on my '09 GL320 - fuel gauge dropped to 0 and stayed there. Was fixed by dealer loading a new software rev. - one post fix quirk - when fuel is low, the display no longer turns red and says "Fill with ULSD" along w/ a fuel pump icon. Now simply shows the range going to 0.
Also had same problem with keyless entry lock/handle on rear passenger door - door handle was replaced 4 times under warranty! Each fix only lasted about 10K miles. Last one has been good for about 17K.

In the first 8 months or so of my GL 350 blue ownership, the dashboard went screwy, lights would blink, then eventually after parking, I could not start it. This was due to a malfunction in one of the many computer/computer controllers in the steering column?. The tow driver instantly recognized my issue and said he knew about that, but other than that superb car. So once it was fixed ( under warranty ). Issue went away. My guess is you have similiar issue that needs an experienced hand to find so you dont waste "by the hour" money.
