It's a scam. They make it seem like they'll forgive your loan balance, but you start talking details and you soon realize that's not the case. Glad I didn't waste my time going to the dealership and cleared this up on the phone.

I've gotten e-mails about how they want my trade and they'd lower my payment. That was a few years ago.

I actually approached them and it turns out it was also a scam.

'They' will pay off your loan all right - and then add the amount they paid off, plus fees, to your new loan!
