2011 GL450 Shuddering after shifting
I am driving at speed and everything is fine and then I slow down for an upcoming traffic light. If I don't come to a full stop because let's say the traffic started moving I get this shuddering until the rpms are up again. It is as if I was driving a manual and I kept it in high gear. I have to kickdown hard to downshift but that should have happened automatically.
None of this happens when I start going from a full stop.
Anybody have any thoughts? I m planning on taking it in. The car has 10K miles

May not be related but my 2011 450 had premature leaking in the engine mount which caused engine vibration in low rpm. I thought it was an oil leak but the dealer diagnosed it as a engine mount malfunction. Check underneath the car to see if you see any visible leaks. They were surprised to see it fail after 10k miles.

I have been complaining of something similar, a "hesitation" when I try to move after slowing down to a few miles an hour. Dealer service was no help. I even bought one of those speed boosters, which didn't help this problem either. It irks me to the extent I'm considering trading in my 2011 for the new 2013, IF the engine doesn't display similar symptoms.
