I'm thinking to purchase a GL 350 Bluetec 2010 from a none MB dealer. The car has everything except Nav and rear view cam... I was wondering if I purchase this suv how much would cost me to get nave and rear view cam?

if it has parktronic you should be all set.

nav- an external $100 nav will blow the factory nav out of the water in terms of functionality.

rear camera- you dont want that one either- it takes good couple seconds for the rear camera to come up on the screen when you put the truck in reverse. annoying to say the least. i never use mine.

I Thought all GL has Nav on them but Rear view cam is the optional. I was wondering how much would cost the OEM unit?

P1 option comes with Nav. Doesnt sound like yours has the P1 option. Usually that option comes with the vehicles on the dealer lot so would seem that this was special ordered.

I dont use the rear backup cam either. Even when I do, I dont trust it, still turn my head and look behind

That's right that car didn't have any options at all and it was very far (3200k) away from me... I'm just waiting for local deal around toronto

The Canadian packages are different. Depending on the year, the rear camera was packaged with a group that always included nav and the power liftgate. All Canadian GLs should have Parktronic and a a trailer hitch, and depending on the year, some will have the HK radio as standard, but no camera and nav modules. I have been driving a GL without camera for over four years in downtown Calgary, and I find Parktronic is good enough. I would not sweat it.
