Hi, I wonder if I can play mp3 files burned on a dvd disc on my GL's CD charger? So that I can fit tons of song on a disc.

I think I read somewhere that it could, but I haven't rolled like that since 2004. You could also look into ways of streaming audio from a smartphone via bluetooth or cable connectivity to Comand...it's awesome, flexible and damn near anything is available at your fingertips.

It shouldn't be too hard to find out. If it is like my current ride, put the music into folders with not more than 140 songs per folder. The max could be 144 but I don't remember for sure.

hi, I just tried yesterday and it didn't work. It gives me this "CD error". I think I burned it wrong because I burn the songs on the DVD as Audio CD. I should just copy the files like what you have suggested.

I'll try again today and hopefully, it'll work.

Yes, they should be burned as data files.

I tried many ways to burn the mp3 files on a DVD disc but the GL320 just can't read it. It always say "disc error". I don't think it's going to work on my GL320.

Does anyone actually get this to work? I don't think it can read DVD disc at all.

Does it read mp3 on a regular CD just fine? I'm going to have to try DVD on ours...

DVD -audio is not supported on 2007-2009 MY GL's

Before facelift i believe they have include only "MP3 CD changer". the newer model comes with DVD changer.

I'm confirmation that my 2008 GL can play mp3 files on a CD dsic. So now, I can have a lot more songs on a CD disc which is great for my audio books.
