need help kind of stranded with the kids
Hi guys went on a road trip , got to NY , checked in . went back to the car and the car is dead not a light compleatly dead.key would not even turn in the ignition.2 min later all ok ., had this in the past lost compleate power for a split second while driving than . I know it was a compleate lost of power since the clock has reset everytime.
what can this be?the battery terminals are tight.

the negative is real tight but has a little corosion<green> on it. can this cause it even if real tight?

Yes. This is typical and presents high resistance during start which results in the system shutting down to protect from undervoltage. Did you also notice that your dash clock spins right after the failure?

The negative battery cable was really coroded under it , could not see it from the top hope this will help
