Looking at GL550's and have a question or two.
Looking at trying my '07 e63 for a GL550.
Just curious...are there years to avoid? Any issues with 07 or 08 years?
Any nice upgrades in 09 or 10 o consider?

The 2009 and up model years have the upgraded COMAND interface which is much more user friendly, much nicer to look at (and use), and has some added functionality. It also has a different steering wheel, exterior mirrors, and LED exterior lighting (depending on which year you get).

I did the same swap 7 months ago. I do miss my E63 but the GL550 is a blast to drive....just gotta figure out how to get some headers and a supercharger installed.

09 and up.... Command is much better, minor interior upgrades.. They worked most the bugs out of the 7 Tronic
