Ceramic Brakes....

Anyone have experience? I have to replace my pads and I was considering ceramics. Wanted to hear opinions on stopping distance and softness.

I put that on my car few hours after I bought the car. Stop was better than OEM, and no dust

My neighbor have similar GL with OEM pad, and I think the wheels turn dark a day or two after wash

For the front pads on my 2007 GL450 I installed Akebono ceramic pads #EURO 1123. 7000 miles since the install. No more dust, no noise, and the pedal pressure seems about the same. It's difficult to quantify the pressure with power braking.
