Multi-Contour Seat?

I saw this option, and was wondering if they are worth the price, comfort level, etc. If they're restricting like racing seats, I would not be comfortable. Anyone with experience?

Thanks

It's a new option for GL and I don't think anybody has experience to tell you something. I really liked multi contour seats on our BMW X5 and when the time comes will order it for my new GL.

My wife had it on her 2011 E350. Its worked pretty well, even though the massage left something to be desired. I would think that it would be more useful in a car that you can really "drive". In an SUV? Dont find much use for it. That being said, if I was purchasing a brand new 2013 GL, I would load it to the gills and include the multi-contour seats.

I've never had them, but did order them for my 2013 GL350.

Love the multi contour DD seats on our designo w211. Wish they were available for order on our '09, but had to go without.

The multi contour option was available on the original 07 GL.... I had it. The side bolsters moved in and out and the front part of the seat closest to your knees would move to provide more or less support. The lumbar support moved in more ways than the standard version. There was no "massage" at that time. My thoughts are.... if you spend a lot of time at one shot in your vehicle, you will like the option.....if not, then its just a "gee whiz" gizmo! Also.... I'm a light weight...140 pounds....the seat adjustments, i think, assume you weigh or are larger than I am....when the side bolsters moved on mine I never felt it because they don't touch my body anyway! That being said.... I did like the change of positions on an 8 hour drive!
