2013 GL450 Pricing
I was wondering what people have been receiving as pricing for the 2013 GL450. I am looking for a GL450 in standard black, with the following options:
Xenon Lighting Package
Wood/Leather Steering Wheel
P1 Package
Grey Leather
Ventilated/Heated Seats
Keyless Go
Parktronic
Trailer Hitch
List is about $75k, and the best offer I have received so far is $70,449. Has anyone ordering a similar package gotten a better deal (even better in the NY area?) Thanks

2011 E550 Sport (traded), 2012 SLK 350; 2013 GL450 on order for OCT delivery
Given the low availability the price you were quoted sounds good to me. The two dealers I negotiated with were at MSRP for one and a $3100 discount with the other.
BTW, you cannot order leather upholstery in a GL450 now because of supplier issues. Until further notice only cars with leather as standard equipment can get it (read GL550). I ordered leather only to get the active ventilated front seats. My dealer called and said it would be an indefinite delay; so, I settled for MBTex and no ventilated seats. My wife was not pleased. In fact she has already informed me that she does not like this car (even though it is not here yet)because of all of the BS from Mercedes Benz about advertised features not being available (e.g., Surround View, Leather Upholstery, Pano Roof, limited availability of Distronic Plus). We already cancelled one order and subsequently ordered another. This one is supposedly due in sometime this month.

I agree, this seems like a pretty good deal. I also am ordering and was told sticker price is the price. In my situation I'm wanting a GL350 and they have limited availability this year, so there wasn't much I could do other than wait. I do qualify for a fleet incentive so get that discount.
It will be interesting to see what the market response is to them GL450 as they reach the dealer's lots. If they move quickly, price stays high, if they move slowly, I can see discounts starting in short order. I'd suggest monitoring dealer inventory as a barometer of demand. My dealer seems to be moving through them quickly.

I think it makes sense to wait and watch for the 13's to be out for awhile, and the pricing will settle down. I'm planning on mid to late December to test the waters...

I created this thread over in the X166 (2013 GL model) forum to track pricing. Might be better to post experiences there.
I know my dealer in Minnesota can't keep the 2013's in stock. They are selling as fast as they can get them in. I'm a little surprised given the economy.
