New MB owner, need some help re: headlight
We just purchased a 2008 GL320 which has a bad passenger side headlight (xenon, active curve). It lights up fine but it's permanently pointed at about 2 o'clock and I have a warning on the display.
I'm keeping my eyes open for a replacement and I see a bunch online but it's not clear to me which are active curve and which are not... If I find a replacement xenon unit will it necessarily be active curve or did MB sell xenon without the curve system?
I'm starting to learn my way around EPC but it's not clear to me how to pull a list of the different part numbers that will work (due to changes in part number or suspercedes, etc...)
On another note, I'm really interested to know as much of the history of this vehicle as possible. I've already approached a dealer to get a copy of the VMI and was turned down...if anyone if capable/willing to help me get one I would really appreciate it...
