Had some front damage a few days ago and looks like I need to replace my front bumper, was wondering what options our out there?

Two options that are on the top of my list

• Upgrade to 2010 front bumper and grill
• Upgrade to GL550 grill and bumper
• Upgrade to ?

Does your car have Distronic? If so, the GL550 grille is incompatible with it.

Just add the LED's and the front skid plate. It will look updated.

What does this entail?

I do not have Distronic, but do have parking sensors. Would the conversion require a new hood as well or just bumper and led lights?

I need to replace my bumper as it is damaged.

To do the GL550 front end it would not require a new hood or fenders.

What you'll need for sure are the grille, new front bumper, bumper grille inserts, and LEDs. You might need new parktronic sensors as the facelifted cars have a different circle sensor than the old ones. On the old ones you have a "donut" around the sensor. The new sensors don't have the donut and it's just one circle. This also might make the wiring harness an issue.

Don't know if you'll need new bumper brackets/ styrofoam or not though. And typically this isn't something you can easily find out until after you have the parts in hand.
