2008 GL450 Warranty: Need help choosing a repurable warranty company (3rd party)
The GL450 Im going to purchase in a few days is an 08 and the warranty has expired (currently at 69900).
What warranty companies would people recommend? Ive been told by a dealer that GWC is good (but they are asking $4000 for 3 years).
I dont have the option of throwing my money into an account and just have it sit and accumulate interest and am afraid of how sensitive/expensive repairs can be and would rather not have to pay for repairs out of pocket.
I was hoping for something that has bumper to bumper and is exclusionary: only leaving wear and tear items to not be covered, everything else, including OEM electronics I would want covered
Ive already gne through the process of having the vehicle inspected by a very reputable mechanic (using star diagnoses as well) but that never a guarantee
So what do ya'll recommend? Go with GWC or are there more reputable companies out there?

I've got National Warranty Corp. on my car purchased through MB Seattle. Cost me $3,800+ tax for 4 years and no deductible. So far it's paid out $6,000 in half a year with no troubles. It's an exclusionary warranty that's considered bumper to bumper and they don't cover wear and tear.

I bought a "Total Care" warranty from EasyCare on my 2007. I bought it when I purchased my vehicle new. I paid for it over the 5 years and 110,000 miles I put on the vehicle. Warranty claims went through my dealer. I have no idea what they could cost now.
There's also a person on this forum (Becks_Imports) that might be able to give you some ideas. I don't know him and haven't used him, just trying to help.
