White lines across Navigation screen
Hi all,
I am new to this forum. Just bought a 2009 GL550 with 110k miles on it. Everything works fine and so far I am really enjoying the GL. One problem I have is that there are a couple of white lines going across the navigation screen, in the bottom part of it. I did some research and it looks like I am going to have to live with it or replace the whole Comand unit. Just wondering if someone else had the same problem and was able to fix it @ a reasonable price?

Had this Same problem and the dealer replaced it. Luckily mine was still under factory warranty. Unfortunately I do not think it was fixable. Mine started with one line and within 2 months I had 4 lines. Hopefully yours does not get any worse.

Out Of Control!!
A shop that does laptop repair might be able to replace the screen from another command unit (if you can find a cheap one to buy)
It might even be the same screen part as other Alpine based nave systems.

Thanks for the suggestions and info! I might look around to try fixing it if it gets worse. So far it doesn't bother me too much.
