light bulb change
My low beam headlight bulb is out. Ran my VIN at the dealer and happily walked away with a $9 H7 halogen bulb. Thinking my lights were brighter than a regular halogen I reluctanctly opened up the housing to find a xenon. Tracing the wires to a ballast it looks to be upgraded aftermarket, but done correctly.
Now my issue is fininding an ecomical replacement bulb that will fit. Pelican Parts sells a couple but the base looks to be plastic. The one in my car is metal. Anyone have any suggestions on where else to look for a single xenon bulb replacement? Or can I separate the plastic from the PP one and insert into my metal base?
