2012 GL450 value

as i have been looking around and as my lease is less than 6 months from being due i notice there are very few 12 GL450's avail for sale. That being said is the market hot enough for me to sell it on my own vs turning it in and having the dealer tack on an extra $10K vs what my buyout is

THoughts?

I have struggled with that in the past when I used to lease. It depends on where you are (type of market). In my case I had looked up similar year cars with mine for sale by dealers and dropped the price by a few thousand dollars. Then I compared it to my buyout price and saw that at best I would be a couple thousand ahead. That was at best, so I decided I didn't want to sell it myself. It depends in how high the demand is in your area however. Personally I would have a tough time justifying the purchase of a high end used vehicle from an individual instead of a dealer. With this in mind I could not see many buyers showing up to buy my car even if it was a couple grant less than what the dealer would sell. What's a couple grant when you spend 50-65k on a car?

That's my two cents
