air suspension

Have an 07 GL450. The rear right side has a leak in suspension air bag which noticeably lowers the vehicle down when parked but levels itself when vehicle is running. I took it to the dealer and part is in back order and may take up to three months. Has anyone experienced this problem? is it safe to drive in this condition for next three month? Dealer is replacing it with the part # 166-320-03-25, he said he would not replace it with 164 part since that part could be old and the rubber inside of it may have gone bad. Any thoughts on this?

If you don't have the ability to do it yourself, then see if dealer will install your parts (probably not), or tell us where you are and we can possibly refer you to a reliable independent MB mechanic.

Given the do it yourself nature of the video, any decent shop should be able to install the Arnott struts for you.
My guess is they should be no more expensive than regular struts to install. (Maybe less because they don't have to play with a spring and spring compressor.)
