CEL just came on
Hi,
Have a 2011 GL350 and the CEL just came on, stopped at my mechanic and he put it on a scanner and it showed up as a code P20B9 and says reductant heater control.
I've found the error code online but it's described as a cylinder 9 fuel injector. Yet the mechanic says it reads as a heater control.
I did back about 5 days ago after I parked in my garage smelled a burning type smell when I parked. I thought it was weird, but there is nothing leaking and I didn't smell that again so I didn't worry too much.
I'm heading to Edmonton and to a mercedes dealership on Friday (for a pre-safe inop error code) so now I get to add this to the work order.
Will I make it safely there? Will the truck after a certain amount of miles shift the power down and I'll get stuck on the highway?
I'm not sure if this is a heater issue with my adblue tank or a fuel injector issue.
Any thoughts anyone???
tks!!!

Out Of Control!!
So it goes on after some number of bad cycles and goes off after some number of good cycles.
