Mercedes Comand MCS II issues

I have an issue in my system that I’d like to fix if possible. I am using Comand MCS II with DVD 2012 maps. It is working OK for a short use (1-2 hours). However, if it is more than 4 hours the GPS system stalls. I can see a map on the monitor but not directions are given anymore and arrow stays I one place. Sometime, initialization is running. I need to turn off the Comand unit and wait for a while and then it can be used again for a short time. I am wondering what this can be and how it is possible to fix.

Not. I bought the disk from ebay. it is some soft of copy with right graphics printed on disk but does not look as original.

This is your problem.... Some of the ebay disks are not written properly and when the head unit heats up they either error or hang.

This is very common with "aftermarket" nav disks on the mcs 2.

Thank you! At least, nothing is wrong with the Comand system. You said that this is happening when head unit heats up. Does it mean that the disk itself is the issue but not the way it is written. Perphaps, it is something to do with disk's heat resistance properties. I can just duplicate that disk on a better quality disk and maybe it will fix the issue. I am just wondering if you know something about it.
