Suspension question

I'm purchasing a 2010 GL350 with 56k miles and I know it's about that time the suspension issues come. I went to check out the truck a second time and noticed the front end was on the floor. Once the truck turned on it went to normal height and no error codes were shown. Truck rode great and seemed normal. I had my doubts and took it to the dealer to get the suspension checked out and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Does this sound normal? According to the seller truck has remained at normal height and hasn't dropped back down. Just sounds weird to me.

More then likely the front "Air Springs" are leaking, symptoms are as you described. Replacements can be purchased online, I found the best prices at shockwarehouse.com they sell Arnott brand with lifetime warranty. It seems the the Air Springs on these last about 60k for the Mercedes original so 56k does not sound out of the ordinary. As they go bad you might go several days when they stay up and then go down over night, it seems intermittent, at first getting progressively worse until it will be down every time you go out to drive the vehicle.

Running with a leak is also bad on the pump.
