Cleaning denim transfer off MB – Tex, recommendations needed
Yes I have searched this many times, and you get a variety of results mainly saying use a mild detergent and it will come .
Well on my wife’s GL the denim transfer seems there to say, admittedly through our long harsh winters I haven’t been wiping the seats down regularly, so the transfer has had time to set, which I am sure makes it worse.
This weekend I planned to give the car a good detailing, shampoo the crusted salt out of the carpets (Those of you in warmer climates don’t know what your missing), wax the car and of course clean the seats.
Any product recommendations for getting the ground in denim stains off cream seats, scrubbing with a brush and dawn soap seems to make absolutely no difference!

I had the same problem and found a Turtle Wax leather cleaning system that includes a cream cleaner and a sponge applicator/cleaner that resembles a Mister Clean Magic Eraser. I got it at Canadian Tire for about $15. Nothing else that I had tried even touched the denim blue but this removed it completely without much rubbing. The sponge does tend to flake off a bit, but if you plan the vacuuming after the seats are cleaned, it comes up easily.
Hope that helps.

I've posted before that the Harley Davidson product is the best cleaner/conditioner I've come across in 30 years of owning high end leather interiors... Its about $8 for the small container and its a paste and a little dab goes a long way... It doesn't have a greasy residue or odor....prevents cracking....seals....and repels stains (denim transfer)... Good luck!

I use it about once every two months.... a little goes a LONG way....its not "greasy" - prevents cracking - has no odor - and keeps my high end leather feeling soft and looking great!!!

Thanks for the recommendations, I think my issues is the the top surface of the finish has worn off at the seam, which is why the denim dye is staining the edge and is really difficult to clean.

I have cream color leather interior on my 2013 Porsche and I deal with dye transfer a lot.
Its difficult to find, but I use, Lumiere All Natural Leather Cleaner . Its very effective. I have been using for a year now and my leather looks like it rolled right out of the factory. Its a one step spray on -wipe off product vs the more involved products like leatherique. I buy it by the case from Moe at Glistening Perfection on the West Coast. It looks like he is having problems with his online store, so I would email him. Good luck.
