Looking for part number and/or diagram
I hopeful someone can assist me in locating the part number for the sliding roof switch lever on our 2010 GL550. The electrical switch works fine, but the plastic lever that's used to activate the sunroof switch is broken. It doesn't pivot correctly so the sunroof doesn't open/close/lift like it is supposed to. I hope that makes sense!

Hi, i was searching the EPC but i can't find the plastic switch, i think it come with the complete unit, but reading you again you can try to reset the sunroof.
Resetting
Reset the sliding sunroof if it does not move smoothly, or if the battery has been disconnected or has become discharged.
Switch the ignition off and then on again.
Raise the sliding sunroof fully at the rear more.
Keep the button switch pressed for another second.
Make sure that the sliding sunroof can be fully opened and closed again more.
If this is not the case, repeat the steps above again.
for more details

hope this can help you.

To close the loop for anyone else with a broken sunroof switch, here's what I've learned:
The sunroof switch is part of the overhead console and cannot be purchased separately. Dealer quoted $1200. to replace the overhead console, parts department wants $800. and I've seen it for $660 from online parts retailers. The part number for my '10 GL 450 is 164.870.30.26.7E94.
I believe the console is plug and play - meaning no reprogram at the dealer is required, but can anyone confirm before I pull the trigger?
Dealer has this part in stock, so I'm obviously not the first with this issue.
