New Spark Plugs = +15% Mpg
I change out my steering rack a month or so ago, and whilstI was doing so I changed the spark plugs, my car is 6 yrs old and had done justover 60k, I noticed when I replaced them that the gaps were very wide and outof spec.
At first I notice now much better the car was doing on fuelbut put it down to different driving, but after 5 fill ups I am averaging 16-17mpg, when before it always stayed around 14.5-15 mpg.
All I have changed on eth engine is the plugs, but verypleased I did, as 15% over the year is a fair few $$ saved.
