Parktronic sensors

Front parktronic sensors especially right side, starting go crazy now... even if vehicle is standing still, it beeps every so often and beeps when you hit brake to make any turns....

Dealer saying it is not showing any errors... what to do?

I found wiring harnesses and sensors on eBay. You might try a new sensor. Do you have STAR? can you look at the actual values and have someone walk around the car?

As mentioned above, have someone look at it with DAS/STAR

My truck showed error codes for failed sensors when I bought it. I cleared the codes and none came back. But if you clear your codes and see one come back within a few mins, replace that sensor.

Dealer saying it's not showing any errors is BS. They did quick test and didn't see anything. You can actually look at each sensor in detail in DAS and they probably didn't do that. They love to charge $125 for an hour of labor, say "no fault found" and send the truck out the door.

Look at the actual values in DAS and see.. one of your sensors is failing and you'll probably figure it out when you see the numbers.

On my R320 the 4 red LEDs light up on the front and back indicators. I pulled up DAS and had my wife walk around the front and back and I could see the sensors start at 255 and go down from there. There is only one on my front bumper that's working so I am guessing that the previous owner hit the front with something. If you are near someone on the MB Star locator list you should contact them and see if they can help you run the same test. If you are in Wichita I am glad to help

Thanks to all and I found that I need to conduct sensitivity test for those sensors from my old post (had 2007 GL450 - traded in for GL350) as it had the same problem and I noticed it is my left side sensors....

Unfortunately, I relocated to Korea and I exported vehicle.... called local MB dealer and MB USA told me their world wide warranty is only good for 2 years.... and MB USA will not ship replacement parts to APO addresses. so I do not know what else to do besides taking it to local MB dealer who will charge x3 more than state side....

btw, What's DAS?

DAS is the Mercedes diagnostics system. I purchased a complete setup online. I just purchased sensors on eBay for my R320. They are stamped Bosch and look the same as the OEM. I paid around $20ea for them. They are brand new so I will have to paint them. I don't think USPS charges more for APOs. Try places like idparts (I have had a great experience with these guys) or rmeuropean (I haven't purchased anything from here).
