2008 GL 320 CDI - need to find Glow Plug Controller and Inlet Port Shut Off Motor
Hi,
Long story short my GL 320 CDI is running no turbo now.
2 problems from the code:
1) The dreaded glow plug controller problem
2) The 2513-1: M55 Inlet Port Shut Off Motor Postioner signals fault.
So I guess I will have to replace both the unit.
I have quickly asked the Australian part supply and they wanted $600+ per unit!
I am trying to look for the replacement part on Ebay or other website in US but with no success.
Can someone kindly guide me to place/website or even provide a link so I can purchase these parts thru online?
Thanks in advance.

Out Of Control!!
google 6429002700.
You should find it lots of places for way less than $600.
From what I understand you have to pull the intake manifold to get the intake flap motor.
Many bypass it with a resistor.

I am not sure.
I would do some reading on Jeep (2007 and 2008 Jeep Cherokee with V6 CRD engines are MB Based)
and Sprinter forum.
The part should be a sub $1 resistor (of the right value.)

Thanks N_Jay.
I ended up buying a brand new inlet port motor from UK. I just feel that having the flap open all the way will hinder the drive at low rev - which is something I have to do a lot due to I am in the city (Brisbane, Australia) that has lots of traffic jam.
Will report back how it goes
