Hi all, new member here...first time, soon to be MB owner
I'm about to pull the trigger on a mint, 2011 GL450 with 17K from the original owner.

Factory warranty expires at the end of this year and was looking to purchase an aftermarket warranty on the car.

After much research, seems like ENDURANCE Warranty is the best choice and covers the Air Suspension.

Just wondering if any of you heard or have had any experience with Endurance.

Hey, I'm new here too and have endurance for my gl. Bought it 2 years ago and happy that i did it. it cost me i think about $3200 for 5 years of coverage. They had different options, the more you pay the more is covered, i didn't buy the highest level of coverage and i think i should have. Anyways, don't have anything bad to say about the company, they do seem to be the best in this industry.

I specifically asked more than one person if the air suspension is covered, they all said yes, except for the actual shocks themselves. All other components are covered, I am speaking about their exclusionary coverage.

After what mileage you cannot buy warranty from endurance?

If they don't cover the shocks they really aren't covering much.

The front and rear struts are the part that fails. Sometimes compressors go too but not as often.

There is also a cheap relay ($10?) that can sieze up.

If they are covering everything except shocks, they are only covering a relay + one compressor (that can be purchased for under $400 at Arnott)

I would consider this basically no warranty at all on the air suspension, and be prepared to fix it on your own.
