Getting frustrated with these lights
I have an 08 GL450, just got it a month ago. It's been below 0 here in MA, the other day battery light came on I took it to the dealer they said it was fine might have been the cold. Now the engine light is on. Back to the dealer we go on Monday, are these things super sensitive to frigid weather? This is my first Benz, Iv'e been driving a Lincoln Navigator for the last 14 years.

It has been consistently below 0 here in Indiana and the truck has not been anything but solid. I get off of work at 3am and the truck will sit out in it for about 12h, I was worried about the cold but has not given me any issues.

Took my GL450 to the ski resort and it stayed overnight in below zero C, only coolant sigh came on saying to add some i did and light went off. With my C class every time i take it to mountains on cold weather, engine light coming on, saying something about air, i dont remember now. My E500 showing battery sigh only when weather is very super HOT, and my mechanic said it is issue when battery relay going bad, but no problem when weather is good.

You sure it is the check engine and not the tire inflation?
